..||<>Art for cultural festival<>||.. We are having An Cultural art festival at 5 pm, and kakapo has created their own piece of artwork! We did are artwork based around our favourite places in the far north, and mine was mataibay, well.. I have other favourite places but for this art we were doing I chose mataibay. One thing I would change on my piece is that I would make the sky and ocean look more different, We were originally going to to do black outlines on everything, but some of us had little details that might be effected when we do the black outlines so that's why some of us don't have them. Thank you to Sheree for helping all of us with our work and teaching us step by step.

..||Enlargement art||..

two weeks ago we had done some work on enlargement art. We got to pick someone you like or who your inspired you. I didn't know who to pick so I just decided to pick one of my favourite singers.
once we had got the picture of your person, we now get a grid'd piece of paper and (we also have to grid out our picture) and then we count the grids on out picture and enlarge them, so each piece of the picture is in the square we but it in that square that's in the other picture. Now that I look at it I kind of want to work more on the left eye and the lips because they look very off.

..||.+*Cross Country Writing*+.||..

Our cross country writing is one of those "I see, I smelt, I heard, I felt," writing. and here is mine I hope you enjoy! (sorry its very short)

I saw.. many people go ahead of me as I stumbled across the slippery mud trying not to fall over.

I smelt.. the mud, it filled the air and it stunk like sweaty dirt.

I heard.. people screaming and cheering but as we got further into the track the noise faded into the background and it was now quiet.

I felt..nervous, and scared that I would come last, and a bit disappointed and very lost as I tried to catch up, I felt better as I saw them stop to walk on the hill, that would of been my chance to jog past them.

-sorry its a bit hard to read, but here's what it said~For the last couple of days we have been learning about collecting status and learning about charts and pie charts. Today we spent maths collecting data on a subject of our choice, my one was phobias or fears, which were spiders,clowns,holes, the dark or dolls.The hardest bit for this was collecting data from other people. But I really enjoyed putting the information together and decorating the it on google drawing. It was very easy to make the pie chart because the computer does it for you, all you need to do is type the number of times people voted for a certain topic and then the number of other topics and then it’ll do it for you! This was a very fun subject to do and i’m quiet happy on how it turned out! have you ever done a pie chart?? and what was it about?

||..Blogging status..||

So on google drawings we had to make a chart about our progress so far on our blogs, which was pretty easy to gather the information because you can see how much you've done if you just click on the side that has the years you've been blogging. last year was the most post's I've done, this year was the least. this year I am going to try and at least get at close to beating last years post. What's you blog status, and do you have a goal to beat it this year?

||..Moment In time..||

I heard.. many people chattering quietly to each other and I could hear the echo of peoples shoes clicking and clacking as they walking on the cold floor.

I saw.. many younger people and any people my age gathering to the table.

I felt.. nervous, and quiet anxious if this art class would be successful.

I could smell the petrol like paint everywhere.

I didn't really wonder at all, I was just paying attention and trying to make sure everything would go well. .

I heard squawking and screeching coming from inside the Avery.

I saw many of the tiny budgies dive down to my hand, some some of them hesitated to come to me. But most were fine with it.

I felt pleased that the birds were finally learning to get use to me.

I wondered if they would kindly come to me, even without the food I gave them.
