..+*Social Justice*+..

_.-Presentation-._

Last week was social justice week, we all had to make a copy of a slide template with some tasks for us to do, we explored to understand more of what social justice is and what it means.
I enjoyed doing this task but it is sad because ,Social justice is something that hasn't been shown in some parts of the world at some times, which is really sad but we are really grateful  that here there it isn't as bad.
here is my filled slide,

..||Poetry||..

 -Literacy-

For literacy this week, we have worked on Poetry and finding out the technical side of Poetry.
For the task we had to Make a copy of a slide that had some questions in it that we had to answer them, but first we had to watch some of the suggested videos that were like speeches yet very poetic then we got to choose them and fill out the slide question based off  of  the chosen video

I choose Nga Hinepukorero which is a Poem by 4 girls (one of the girls  present in the video.) I chose this one because it was really powerful and I think that the topic that they were talking about was also really important as well. this was a very cool activity that definitely open up your eyes about some of the things that had happened in New Zealand and how it has effected us.
for the slide I tried to make it a golden theme by using golden-hour scenery and other yellow backgrounds, I struggled a little bit trying to summarise some of the questions but managed to get them done.

..+*Week End Reflection*+..

<-._Week 7_.->

this week I was on disciples!  if you don´t know what disciples are they are a thing the senior class do in morning tea  and lunch time (so all break times) each week a group of people (specify in this week it was me, Tiana, Calista, and Will.)  and then we 2 of us put on the high-vise vest and walk around in morning tea, or Lunch time. What you do is basically what some of the teaches to at lunch when they are on duty which is you walk around the place keeping an eye out for anyone who need help, (mainly little kids.)

Something I found challenging was possibly the travel planning we did, we got got to do this really fun activity where we pretend to book a flight to some other country with the 12,000 in our wallet. we can bring 2 other people, me and my Friend Therese decided to go to Westminster in the UK! we got to find activities to do, a good hotel to stay and some places to eat our food! it was really fun but finding certain stuff and trying to work out the money was the hardest, it takes quiet a long time for us to do that, it was also quiet difficult to plan and Itinerary for our activities. Another thing I found Challenging was our daffodil day art (that was really kind of last week.) It was really fun to draw the daffodil and colour it with pastel. but I was happy with how it turned out its just I haven finished it yet.

Something I learned was Lots!we learned lots this week and some of those things were about Rests, Deacons, and Bishops. we learnt the difference between them and what it takes to become one. I also learn lots more about Westminster since for the travel I had to research about it lot, I learned about the Westminster abbey and what it was like back in the old days and in the 15th century.

Some things I have enjoyed were doing the travel activity, it was really fun to do with my friend! its so fun to plan a holiday like a true adult! I also really liked making the brochure for the place we are heading to, It was fun adding all my ideas into the travel brochure and I really enjoyed trying to make it look nice.

Something I feel I have Succeeded in is Possibly the Travel Brochure.. I am quiet proud of the vintage look with all the brown tones and little map and photos on it! I am also happy with the amount of information of it as well!  here is a picture of it,

Something I am looking forward too is seeing my sister! I can wait for her to come over for the weekend!
this week has been really busy (even though really the only thing we had to finish is our travel slide.)

..<> Piktochart<>..

 _.-> Priests, Deacons, and Bishops<-._

Last week we had to make an info graphic using anew program called ''Piktochart''
-PiktoChart
is a Program where you make all sorts of designs and cool Presentations, you can make Posters and Info graphic. Piktochart had all the Graphics and designs all ready for you to use and decorate, they've got cool stickers to put on and text boxes.
-Info Graphics
Info stands for information, and Graphics is like Designs, making things look appealing and nice. info graphics are like posters with more pictures while informing the person about what the topic is.
-what was our task?-
we had to make an info graphic about Priests, deacons and Bishops, including facts and what there role is.
here is mine
This task was really fun to do, it was quiet hard though, I found it challenging to find a good colour palette and design and it was hard to find lots of information but instead I only found some.  I did the colours based around blue and orange and I had  each of the different information squares with some little stickers piktochart provided.
